Landscaping & Masonry Williamson County, Texas

West Georgetown, on the San Gabriel · Based in Georgetown

Landscaping & masonry in Wolf Ranch,
past builder grade.

Wolf Ranch is the master-planned community Hillwood Communities is building on Georgetown's west side. It sits in the hills along the South Fork of the San Gabriel River. It is about half a mile off I-35, next to Wolf Ranch Town Center. The first homes went up on the Hilltop section. The South Fork section runs down toward the river, and more is still being built. That makes most Wolf Ranch yards young. They start with builder sod, a few shrubs, and a sprinkler system set to a default schedule. We are based in Georgetown, a short drive away. Turning that starter yard into a finished one is most of what we do here.

Wolf Ranch, specifically

Hills, rock and a brand-new yard.

The land is what sets Wolf Ranch apart from flatter subdivisions. The community is cut into the hills above the river. Many lots slope, and the rock sits close under the sod. So a yard here is planned around where water runs and where stone is, not just looks.

Most Wolf Ranch homes are only a few years old, or still being built. The trees are small, the beds are thin, and the sod was laid over compacted fill. That is a good place to start, because nothing has to come out first. We can plan the whole yard at once: the grade, beds, plants, patio and irrigation. Then the pieces fit together instead of getting added one at a time.

Rock and slope shape the work. Limestone sits shallow across this part of Georgetown. We prepare beds with real soil and pick plants that like thin, alkaline ground. On a sloped lot, rain wants to run toward the house or wash out a bed. We set the grade and add a dry creek bed or edging where the water needs to go. Then we build the patio level, on a base made for clay and rock.

Wolf Ranch has community design standards for exterior changes. We design to those standards. We tell you early if part of your plan may need a review, so you can submit it without starting over. Most people here want to use the back yard. The covered patio from the builder is often the start of an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit or stone seating.

Questions

Wolf Ranch, answered.

Do you work in all of Wolf Ranch, including Hilltop and South Fork?

Yes. We are based in Georgetown and work across Wolf Ranch. That runs from the Hilltop section to the homes near the river in South Fork. The rock, slope and sun change from lot to lot, so every estimate starts with a walk of your yard.

What landscaping and masonry services do you offer in Wolf Ranch?

Everything we do, we do in Wolf Ranch: landscape design and installation, xeriscaping and zeroscaping, lawn replacement, irrigation repair, landscape maintenance, stone, flagstone, paver and concrete patios, outdoor kitchens, fire pits and outdoor fireplaces, pergolas, and metal and iron fencing. Both trades are in-house, so one crew handles the stonework and the planting around it.

Do you provide irrigation repair in Wolf Ranch?

Yes. Our irrigation work is led by a Texas Licensed Irrigator (LI0028648): broken heads, valves, leaks, damaged pipe, controller programming, coverage adjustments and seasonal inspections, all performed to TCEQ requirements.

Can you replace a lawn in Wolf Ranch?

Yes. We remove the failing turf, prepare and grade the soil, install new sod and leave you with watering and establishment guidance. Fall and spring are the best windows in Central Texas, and we will tell you if the irrigation needs fixing first — new sod over a broken system fails again.

Do you build stone patios and outdoor kitchens in Wolf Ranch?

Yes. Flagstone, chopped limestone, travertine, pavers and poured concrete for patios; natural Texas stone with built-in grills, counters, sinks and bar seating for outdoor kitchens. The base is engineered for Central Texas clay so the surface stays level through wet and dry.

Is the estimate free in Wolf Ranch?

Yes. Every estimate is free and no-obligation, and it starts with us walking the property — soil, drainage, sun, and the existing landscape — before we put a number on paper. Call (512) 635-7701 or use the contact form to set one up.

My Wolf Ranch home is brand new. Should I wait to landscape?

No need to wait. A new yard is the easiest one to plan, because nothing has to be torn out. We look at the grade and drainage first. We check that the builder's sprinklers cover the yard. Then we plan beds, plants and any patio together. Fall and spring are the best times to plant in Central Texas.
